Adult Afternoon Lessons- Wednesdays 3:30-5:00 PM
Have you wanted to learn how to sew, but been intimidated by a sewing machine? Or maybe you know how to sew but want to improve your skills. From learning how to sew on a button to a pillow or tote using a sewing machine, this class can be tailored to meet your skill level and goals. This might include learning:
how to hem a pair of pants, fix a seam, or attach a patch
what the parts of a sewing machine are and how to use them
how to take measurements and choose fabric
how to make something from a sewing pattern you've found
how to alter clothing
We can work together to achieve whatever your goals are for this class.
Have a child who is also interested in learning to sew? Parent/child classes can be great fun and a wonderful way to bond over learning a new skill.
Supplies Provided.
You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine if you have one, otherwise sewing machine will be provided for your use.
